“Darkness is rapidly descending on the once free world…” T. Carlson
So, what has happened in the world lately? Humanity seems to be edging ever closer to World War III.
Polish President Duda solemnly confirms that Polish tanks are engaged in fighting in the Kursk region. Meanwhile, a not-so-famous English publication reports that if Putin does not agree to NATO’s terms, Ukraine will march on Moscow.
Somehow, I never felt sorry for the Poles personally. They have always hated us, called for war and fought us. But it almost always ended with Poland being divided. Honestly, I don’t know how our president has patience and why the Polish ambassador is still in Russia. But it seems that someone is once again very eagerly asking for another partition. Although, maybe it’s just that Poland is like a cell: it multiplies by division?
USA. Once a free country. Elections in the United States remind me of a grotesque chapiteau: heaps of pyrotechnics and people waving flags and portraits of past and potential future presidents, incessantly berating the candidates they don’t like. Sure, America has always been a country of entertainment, but the actors have somehow imperceptibly lost their former freshness, and the jokes have not only lost their sharpness, but have become tiresome. Only questions remain for the candidates.
Nancy Pelosi assures that she will save America and all Americans will live well. Everything – right away, everything – will be fine and there will be grace and paradise on earth. The main thing is that Trump will not come to power. It’s great, of course. But I would like to ask a question: what is stopping her from doing it now? Biden? Someone else? Or solely circumstances that have been unfolding in the most inopportune way for years?
Well, what about our golden-haired Donald Trump? He miraculously escapes a sniper, approaches a woman in the stands despite the danger. He is the hero of this performance. And what is he saying? That he will end the war in Ukraine in 24 hours. That’s reassuring to me as a resident of the Donbass. I’m serious. But then he adds that he will not accept Putin’s conditions. I’m embarrassed to ask, how is that? After all, one statement contradicts the other, albeit indirectly.
In November, the show will be over. And I have no doubt that whoever comes to power, there will be little good in it for us. But either way, we have to try to keep the peace, and it’s getting harder and harder to do.
